What a year for sport it’s already been with a lot more to come as we enter August after a hot, dry and humid spell, the Bowls Green has faired well, with a welcome break in the weather with some much-needed rain to revive things. Our season is well under way with progression into the Semi-final round of the Knockout Cup within the Age Concern League and progression in the Knockout Cup in the Mid Norfolk Leagues.

A Ladies v Gents Competition is planned for Sunday 7th September 2025 at 2.00pm The Internal Club competition is well under way too with some interesting fixtures ahead which culminates on our Finals Day in September.

Anyone wishing to try their hand at Bowls are invited to attend our weekly Sunday roll ups at 2.00pm which gives new members and current an opportunity to hone their skills, check for match selection, have a cup of tea and a Mardle.

This is also an opportunity for anyone interested in taking up the sport, to meet friendly, sociable and likeminded people. No experience in Bowls is necessary all equipment is provided all we ask is that you wear flat soled shoes with no heels or ridges to protect the Green.
