Elmham League Constitution & Rules

• Games in the Elmham & District League are played under Norfolk County Bowling Association rules. • Teams to consist of 3 blocks of three players with three woods each, games to be 16 live ends. • In the event of a match being stopped owing to inclement weather or bad light, a result can be recorded provided a minimum of 12 live ends per block have been completed. The score at the time play was stopped to stand as the result • The minimum jack length shall be 23 metres • The jack is live in the ditch and will be played to, its position being indicated by a suitable marker placed above it on the face of the bank. • All bowls in the ditch are dead. • Matches start at 7pm until 31st July, from 1st August it's a 6:30pm start.
