The Club would like to draw your attention to its Annual General Meeting taking place on Thursday October 3rd. with a 7.00pm for 7.30 start in the Clubhouse. The Club would like to see as many people, members and non members, there as possible to conclude this year and look for to the next.

The season culminated on Sunday September 15th. with Finals Day. It was a lovely afternoon and photos can be seen on the Bradenham Hub Facebook page. Not only did the weather stay fair but once the games finished members had a very nice tea and a ‘mardle’. Results were,

Ladies Singles: Marie Ramm beat Pauline Middleton 21-13

Mens Singles: Tony Moore beat Ted Deal 21-17

Mixed Triples: Rosie Hall, Ray Hall, Peter Clements beat Pauline Middleton, Simon Hillier, Richard Woolf 17- 11.

As previously mentioned, the Club hosted the Dereham League’s Presentation Day. Twelve teams took part and Mattishall ran out overall winners. The Secretary of the Dereham League was exceedingly complimentary of our Green and the hospitality provided.

The Green is now out of commission as it undergoes preparations for next season. It has been scarified, reseeded and dressed in sanitised topsoil. This will ensure the Green for next year will be in tip top condition.
