Pre Season 2018

Over the course of the last few weeks members and friends have met for a Coffee Morning and Beetle Drive. The latter was a great deal of fun and for those who have not participated in a ‘beetle drive’ before look out for the next one. Thanks, must go to Pauline for organising the event along with those who cooked and baked as there was more than enough food for everyone.

Despite the most inclement of weather of late the grass on the green is growing. This is exceptionally good news to the greenkeeper and to everyone in the Club as the season will soon be here. In fact, a meeting will be held in the Clubhouse on Thursday April 5th as a precursor to the start of a new season. It is a 7 for 7.30 start. The club looks forward to seeing all those interested in playing bowls or helping socially over the summer months. The more who come along the more vibrant the Club is likely to be. Tied in with this event is the opening of the Green for the new season. This will be at 2.30pm on Sunday April 22. Please make the effort to come along you will be made very welcome.
