New Year Events

The Club would like to thank all those who turned out to the Christmas Bingo in the Village Hall. Nearly 50 members and friends braved the cold to participate in this annual event. The hard work of the committee and those helping with organising raffle prizes all paid off as a great time was had by all. The antics of ‘callers’ Gordon and Peter provided some memorable moments, chasing bingo balls around the room! Similarly, Peter’s rendition associating ball numbers with rhymes left most quizzically guessing why they had not heard the like before!!

The Club are arranging several events for the New Year and a cordial welcome is extended to all those wishing to attend. The first of which is on Thursday January 4th for a Coffee Morning in the Clubhouse between 10 am and 12. This is followed, again at the Clubhouse, on Wednesday January 24th at 12.30 pm with a Soup Lunch and a game of HOY. There is a £3.50 charge for this event. Further events will take place in February and March with details to follow.
