Since the last edition of the Mardle two exciting and notable events took place at the Club. The ‘clean up’ day and the opening up of the Green for the new season. Both events were fantastically well attended and helped by the lure of tasty and copious amounts of food. The new kitchen is fully operational and the overwhelming feeling is it has vastly improved Clubhouse facilities. Fence panelling around the outside of the Green has benefitted from a new coat of creosote as well as the Clubhouse itself. The opening day weather proved a bonus and members took full advantage to enjoy an afternoon of bowls and the opportunity for a chat!

A full list of fixtures is available on the Club website www.bradenhambowlsclub.co.uk and it is hoped results will be updated weekly. May 3rd sees a friendly against Elham Institute followed by the first Dereham League encounter on May 5th. During May, June and July matches start at either 2.00, 6.30 or 7.00pm.
