Happy New Year to all in Bradenham, especially the village’s bowlers. For those who have never bowled but may be thinking about taking it up remember we have a very active Club in the village and would welcome you to the new season which is not that far away.

Since last writing the Club has met twice socially. The first was the annual Bingo evening held in the Village Hall and once again it was an incredible success. Over 70 people played several games that has helped improve the Club’s coffers. A great deal of thanks goes to those who organised the event. The ‘callers’ took a little while to get going as on two occasions chasing balls across the floor of the Hall caused a great deal of merriment. However, once mastered everyone had a fantastic evening and once again many thanks for supporting this event.

Members of the Club thought it would be nice to meet for a Christmas lunch. Many thanks to the staff of the Kings Head in Shipdham who provided a first-class meal which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. This may now become a regular feature of Club activities as such a wonderful time was had by all.

Once again Happy New Year.
