As the season concludes it would be fair to say it has been like the Curate’s egg, ‘good in parts’. Overall, everyone who has played this summer have enjoyed their games and for the most part the weather has been exceptional with no fixtures lost to rain. However, there were several afternoons when a parasol was preferable to an umbrella. The games played in the Dereham League have been the Club’s most productive in terms of winning results and the competition has been strong. Other competitions have not been as successful but none the less enjoyable. Thanks must go to the Committee and Team Captains for all their hard work over the last few months.

The final event of the year is the Grand final of the Inter Club Tournament. This competition has been running over a number of weeks and concludes on Sunday September 16th. 2018 with all matches starting at 2.0 pm

Ladies Singles Final:

P. Middleton v P. Ward

Mens Final:

T. Deal v R. Hall

Mens Pairs Final:

T. Moore/B. Parry v M. Findlay/R. Findlay

Finally, a note for the diary, the Club’s AGM will be held in the Clubhouse Hale Road on Thursday October 11th. 2018, 7 for 7.30 start. Everyone will be most welcome to attend.
