Just two weeks to go before the season opener on Sunday April 10th at 2.00pm. Prior to this the Club held its pre-season meeting where the committee outlined events and fixtures for the coming months. The Tidy Up Day will be held on Sunday April 3rd at 10.30 where bacon butties are the incentive to turn up!

Over the winter, events have been put on for members and friends to stay in contact with each other and these proved not only popular but very enjoyable. However, in addition to the Green needing constant maintenance the Club turned its attentions to another project. The redesigning and reconstruction of the kitchen servery. Huge thanks go to Howdens of Dereham for gifting the new kitchen. In addition, the hard work of Peter Clements, Steve Bond and Rowley Findlay for “putting it all together”. In a similar vein, a very generous monetary contribution from Littleproud and Son has been well received and put to beneficial use.

There are exciting times ahead and if you wish to participate please come along on April 10th or other Sundays after that where you will be made very welcome.
