Late May should have seen the Club well into its fixture list, enjoying warm balmy evenings both here in Bradenham and at other locations across the county. However, a very nasty virus put paid to all that fun. Always mindful of the needs of others it is good members have remained in contact with each other by lending a help hand, where and when necessary with everyday things, only recently taken as normal.

One small glimmer of light is the government sanctioning lawn bowls as an activity people can now participate in, with family or one other friend, provided social distancing measures are adhered to. Those who play bowls know how difficult social distancing would be and although this is a step in the right direction there is still a long way to go before competitions can take place. There is a full brief from Bowls England of all measures relating to the re-opening of greens and play on the Club noticeboard.
