The Club's AGM was held recently and around 20 members were present. The main purpose was to hear the state of the Club's affairs and the events held during the summer as well as the election of a new committee.

After three years, Richard Woolf stood down as Chairman to be replaced by Bob Parry. Richard thanked those members of the committee who had served with him for all their hard work and dedication to furthering the Club. Other committee members stay the same with the addition of Pat Ward (Fixture Secretary), Tony Moore (NBA Captain) and Marie Ramm who was made a Life Member for all her hard work and dedication to the Club and bowls in general.

Despite rumours, circulating locally, the Club is in a healthy financial position and continues to thrive with a number of new members having joined throughout the year. Therefore, the Club will be seeking permission to re-join the Dereham League for 2018 season thus providing even more competitions for the members to participate in. These plans hardly portray a Club about to 'fold'.

Numerous social events are to be held during the winter so please keep an eye out for these.
